THINGS went bump in the night when ghost-hunters investigated a Museum. |
Members of the Maidstone-based Southern Paranormal Investigation Team - a group with an interested in ghost-watching - camped |
out in Maidstone Museum and Bentlif Art Gallery, St. Faith's Street, last Friday 23rd September.
Founding members, mother and daughter Corriene Vickers and Louise Lindley, were among those observing what happened, holding |
a Seance and using a Ouija Board, taking photos and digital footage and recording sounds using dictaphones. |
Mrs. Vickers, of <Address deleted>, said: "Although the Seance was a little disappointing, two team members, Kevin Walker |
and my daughter Louise did sense a little girl in the library". |
"When she was asked to come forward, Kevin and team member Tracey Young both claimed they were touched".
Mrs. Vickers said she also sensed a little boy on a ladder in the library and a photo of the area later revealed a possible "orb" - which |
some believe to be connected to a spirit appearing - beside the ladder.

HAZLITT'S GHOST
The team believe they successfully contacted five spirits on the Ouija Board, including one who claimed to be William Hazlitt. They also |
heard a loud cracking noise coming from the Great Hall and footsteps in the Hangman's Noose area. |
Mrs. Vickers said: "At first we thought not an awful lot had happened, compared to what we normally get, but on reflection it was good". |
The group is planning more investigations at The Little Gem pub, High Street, Aylesford in the near future. |
