How do I become a S.P.I.T. Member?

Click the Forums link on the main page and you'll find the ‘Register' link on the top left hand side of the Portal. Fill in the details required, click the ‘I agree' box underneath the Code of Conduct and press the ‘Submit' button.

How do I join a S.P.I.T. Investigation?

We currently hold a ‘Core Team only' policy. Members must be invited on an investigation to be able to attend. Only in rare cases shall our investigations be open to all members.

How old do I have to be in order to attend an Investigation?

To attend a S.P.I.T. investigation you must be 18 years of age or older. I.D. may be required if there is cause for concern.

Do I have to pay to attend an Investigation?

No. We are a non-profit Team and do not charge members in order to run our vigils. Occasionally the Venue will charge us to hold an investigation for insurance purposes. This charge will be equally divided between those attending (not including Core Team guests).

How long have S.P.I.T. been investigating the Paranormal?

As a Team we have been investigating since February. Corriene and Louise used to work in another small Team and belonged to another group before that. In total they have been investigating for around three years. Graham, Sean and Sarah are fairly new to investigations.

Have you ever got anything on an Investigation which could act as proof that Spirits do exist?

Yes. When Corriene and Louise belonged to another group, one of their Team Leaders managed to capture three monk apparitions on camcorder. Louise was watching it as it took place right in front of her; though, to the naked eye there was nothing there! A recent investigation also gave proof of their existence when the Trigger object that was set up, moved around half an inch and a glass was knocked off a shelf twice!

How did you all meet?

Corriene, Louise, Sean and Sarah met when they all joined the sam
e Psychic Circle about two years ago. Once they had left the circle, they formed their own ‘foursome' and see each other once a week. Louise and Graham met online and he joined the Team after he built the S.P.I.T. Forum.

What is the difference between a Psychic Circle and a Paranormal Investigation?

In a circle you develop your psychic abilities, while on an investigation you try to find proof that Spirits exist.

Can you do both at once?

We don't like to mix them as they are totally separate things and not ALL members who attend an investigation will want to take part in spiritual development. However, developing Mediums may use certain ‘tuning in' methods or meditations to try and contact Spirit, but time wouldn't be set aside for that alone.

Can I advertise my Website / Forum here?
You can, but we state that, if your advert is to remain on the Forum, you must take an active part in posting messages. After all, we are a Forum – not a bill-board and I'm sure you wouldn't expect that from us.
